Repousse Cuff Bracelet, Sterling Silver, Handmade, Hammered Textured
This is a sterling silver cuff made using a technique called Chasing and Repousse. It starts as a flat sheet of sterling silver. I add my design and from there I use special tools and start on the back of the cuff. This is the Repousse part. Then, I turn the cuff over and outline the front of the design and this is the chasing part. I add a bezel for strength then its rounded into the cuff shape. There are NO molds of any kind in this process…..just my imagination, my repousse tools and my hammer!! This cuff has not been oxidized, just polished to a high luster. It is approximately 5″ in length and 2.75″ wide. It will fit most wrist. I’ve named this cuff “Tree of Life”.
